A Friendly Reminder for our SMBE Families 😊
We know how much students love their squishies, Needohs, dumplings, and other fun sensory toys such as these! Just a reminder that these items are best left at home and are not to be brought to school.
We’ve had a few situations in the past few days where these toys have broken and, as you can imagine, the mess they can make can be quite significant and difficult to clean up! The contents can end up on floors, furniture, clothing, hands, and even on other students’ belongings. We’ve also had some of these items go missing, and unfortunately, we aren’t able to take responsibility for personal toys or replace items that are lost or damaged at school.
We appreciate your help with this! Keeping these special toys at home means they’ll be there for students to enjoy after school, while we can keep our classrooms clean, safe, and focused on learning.
